You've registered your podcast with Google and want to change the RSS feed. For instance, because you've changed podcast hosts. In this article we'll explain how this works.
Customizing the podcast RSS feed (URL) is necessary if you've moved your podcast from another podcast hosting provider to Springcast. This way, you won't lose any followers and save your Google statistics.
Always make sure you've submitted all the necessary information in your Springcast account.
Step 1: Your RSS feed at Springcast
You'll need to copy your unique RSS feed in order to change the feed.
1. Go to your Springcast dashboard

3. Select 'distribution'

Step 2: Customise RSS Feed in Google
1. Now go to https://podcastsmanager.google.com and log in

5. Select 'Change served feed'

6. Paste your Springcast RSS feed and select 'next step'

Don't delete your old feed. If you delete your old feed before Google has started displaying your new one, your podcast may no longer be available on Google.

NOTE: It may take Google a few days to pick up your new link. This should not affect your already published episodes. Your new episodes should be live within a few days.
There might occur a small dive in your podcast statistics due to the move. You won't actually lose subscribers. According to Google this unfortunately is an accounting error ;)
