Moving your podcast from PodcastFeed to Springcast
Do you currently host your podcast with PodcastFeed but want to move to Springcast? Follow the steps below to successfully move your podcast to Springcast!

NOTE: Is your podcast automatically distributed via PodcastFeed to apps like Spotify, Apple and Google? Due to this automatic distribution, you won't have access to the dashboards of these platforms and you won't be able to submit your move soon. Therefore, claim ownership of your podcast on
Spotify,
Apple and
Google before you start the move.
1. Import your podcast
Follow the following steps to import all episodes from PodcastFeed first.
1. Go to your Springcast account or create an account.
2. Click 'Import podcast' in the top right corner.
3. Enter your current RSS feed from PodcastFeed and click the button to start the import.
2. Export your statistics
It is wise to save the statistics you have now built up with PodcastFeed for yourself. You do this just before you arrange the move to Springcast so that the statistics are still up-to-date. You will not take these statistics with you to Springcast.
1. Log in to your PodcastFeed account
2. Click on your podcast
3. Click on 'Statistics'
4. Take screenshots of the statistics you want to save
Now it's time to copy your Springcast RSS feed. You will need it to pass on the move to PodcastFeed.
Log in to your Springcast account. Go to the 'Distribution' tab and click the 'Copy' button next to the RSS link.
4. Communicate the move to PodcastFeed

NOTE: after placing the redirect, the statistics in Spotify for Podcasters will be set to 0 at episode level. Should you want to keep these statistics, make sure you create an export before placing the redirect. However, your general show-level data, such as streams, listeners and followers, will be retained and continue after placing the redirect.
Checked everything when importing your podcast and saved your statistics? Great! Then it's time to let PodcastFeed know you're moving. You do this by placing a 301 Redirect. For this, you will need the Springcast RSS feed that you copied in the previous step.
The steps:
1. Log in to your PodcastFeed account
2. Click on your podcast
3. Click on 'Distribute
4. Go to 'Directories
5. Click on your RSS feed
6. Click on the orange slider, paste Springcast's RSS feed here (which you copied in step 3)
7. Save the settings
The redirect has now been implemented!
5. Communicate the move to Spotify, Apple and Google
Communicate your move to Spotify, Apple and Google and other apps where your podcast can be listened to. Learn how to adjust your RSS feed in
Spotify,
Apple,
Google here.

We advise you to close the PodcastFeed account/subscription not immediately, but 2 weeks after the move. By doing so, you give the directories time to direct listeners to the right (new) feed.
