How do I use SEO fields to my advantage?
SEO stands for Search Engines Optimization. It is used to enhance visibility online by using popular key words. You can use SEO to your advantage by submitting key words in your titles and descriptions. Search engines analyze these key words to determine what your podcast is about. The goal is to use words that describe your podcast accurately so it will pop up sooner in search engines when people search for something using similar key words.
The SEO fields are submitted by default in your 'podcast settings'. But if you feel like they don't accurately reflect the content of your podcast, you can adjust the fields to your liking.
You can adjust your SEO settings by going to your dashboard menu and select 'advanced'. There, you can adjust te following fields:
- Slug
- SEO title
- SEO description
- Podcast website URL
SEO of your podcast
A good slogan, SEO title or SEO description can help you become more visible in search engines. However, it's important that you use the right keywords. A keyword analysis can help you determine which keywords are frequently searched for in search engines such as Google.

NOTE: SEO is a very specific field. Don't just change your settings, because it can affect your visibility in search engines. If you're unsure if you're doing the right thing: there are companies who are specialized in SEO and can help you using this in the best way possible.
If you leave the SEO fields empty, they'll automatically be filled by default. So don't worry: search engines will find you ;D
