Podcast converting audio file to mp3

Podcast audio file to mp3

When you upload your podcast episodes at Springcast, make sure you use an .mp3 file. Apple Podcast and Spotify don't support extensions such as .wav and mp4.

If your file has either one of these extensions, you'll need to convert your file to .mp3 first before uploading it in your Springcast app. You can use free audio editing programs like Audacity or Garageband in order to make this happen.

Make sure you export your .mp3 file with a 192 bitrate. When you stream music in your podcast episode, always choose a high quality mp3 file.

We explain how to convert an audio file to an .mp3 format in the YouTube video below.

Once you've uploaded an .mp3 file, you're good to go!

Happy Podcasting!
