Submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts

If you want people to be able to listen to your podcast through Apple Podcasts, you will need to manually register your podcast with Apple. You can go through this process in a few easy steps.

You will need an Apple ID in order to submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts. If you only have a private Apple ID account and want to host a business podcast that you're working on with multiple people, we recommend that you create a separate Apple ID.

Follow the steps below and submit your podcast to Apple Podcasts.

1. Copy your unique podcast RSS feed



Every podcast you create with Springcast has its own unique podcast feed. This feed is listed in directories and players, such as Spotify, Google podcasts, Apple podcasts, Stitcher, etc.

1. Go to your Springcast account
2. Select on the podcast you want to subscribe to Google
3. Select 'distribution'.
4. Click 'copy' (this button is located right next to the link)

2. Go to Apple Podcasts Connect and sign in



Go to the Apple Podcast management environment to register your podcast. Sign in with your iTunes account or create one first.

1. Go to Apple Podcasts Connect
2. Sign in with your Apple ID or create one

3. Add your podcast RSS feed



After logging in with your Apple ID, you can submit your podcast. Apple requires you to validate your podcast before actually submitting your podcast for approval.

1. Submit your unique RSS feed
2. Select 'validate' 
3. Apple will indicate if there are any errors that need to be corrected
4. Check if he correct information is displayed
5. Check if all published episodes are shown
6. If everything is correct, select 'Submit' to register your podcast

Note: it is mandatory to have at least one published episode for Apple to approve your podcast. Also, make sure you have filled in the 'Copyright' field in your 'Podcast Settings' menu at Springcast. If not, Apple will reject your RSS feed. It may take a few days for your podcast to be approved. Generally, it shouldn't take longer than five working days.

Good to know: When the Apple Podcasts registration is complete, your podcast will automatically appear in the following podcast apps: Castbox, Overcast and Castro.
