If you are currently hosting your podcast with Art19 and want to move it to Springcast, you can simply use our import function. Follow the steps below to make sure your move to Springcast is successful.

To import all episodes from Art19, follow these steps.

2. Select 'Add Podcast Show' in the top right corner and then select 'Import Podcast'
3. Paste your current RSS feed from Art19 and select 'Start Import'

3. Copy your Springcast RSS feed
Now it's time to copy your Springcast RSS feed. You need this to notify Art19 of the move to Springcast.
Go to the 'Distribution' tab and select 'Copy' button next to the RSS link.
4. Report your move to Art19
NOTE: After placing the redirect, the episode level statistics in Spotify for Podcasters will be set to 0. If you want to keep these statistics, make sure you make an export before you place the redirect. Your general show-level data, such as streams, listeners, and followers, will be retained after placing the redirect.
NOTE: After placing the redirect, the URLs to the podcast pages and the embedded players of Art19 may no longer work. Do you use this? Then make sure you replace them with Springcast's URLs or embedded players before placing the redirect or as soon as possible after placing the redirect.
Checked everything when importing your podcast and exported the statistics? Well done! Now it's time to let Art19 know you're moving. You do this by placing a 301 Redirect. This is a permanent redirect from one URL to another. You will need the Springcast RSS feed you've copied in the previous step.
At Art19 you cannot place the redirect yourself, but you can ask them to do this for you via chat (on the website) or via e-mail. The e-mail address is support@art19.com.
Indicate in your message that you want to place a redirect and also add your old RSS feed (from Art19) and your new RSS feed (from Springcast) to the message.
Wait for confirmation from Art19 before going to step 5.

5. Notify Spotify and Apple of the move
Communicate your move to Spotify, Apple and other apps where your podcast can be listened to. Learn how to adjust your RSS feed in Spotify and Apple here.
We advise you to close the Art19 account not immediately, but 2 weeks after the move. This gives the directories time to direct listeners to the right (new) feed. Do not cancel the subscription/account with Art19 until you are sure that the above steps have been successfully completed.
